Atkins re-elected as Deputy Leader of Tory MEPs

The Rt. Hon Sir Robert Atkins, MEP for the North West, was yesterday re-elected as the Deputy Leader of the British Conservative MEPs in Europe with an increased majority and share of the vote.

"I am delighted to be able to continue to serve" he said" and especially pleased to be re-elected on the day that the Conservative Party chose a new Leader. I supported David Cameron long before his name was in the frame and I look forward to working with him over the coming years."
